ISLAMABAD: PBCC Young Stars defeated Islamabad by 53 runs in the first semi final match of Cricket Champions Trophy for the Blind 2014.
Islamabad opted to field first after winning the toss. Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) Young Stars piled up 275 runs without losing any wicket in stipulated 20 overs.
Muhammad Zahid shone with bat and made superb 135 runs while Haroon scored 115 not out.
Islamabad in reply could make 222 runs in 18.5 overs for all out. Yasir scored 64 runs for the team.
In the second semi final Kashmir defeated Bahawalpur by 9 wickets. Bahawalpur won the toss and elected to bat first. Bahawalpur scored 169 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Ayaz scored 38 runs.
Kashmir in reply reached the target in 10.5 overs for the loss of one wicket. Jameel scored 128 not out runs. (APP)
