ISLAMABAD: A special parliamentary panel investigating allegations levelled by Member National Assembly Jamshed Dasti against his colleagues met at the Parliament Lodges on Monday.
Sources said that the committee has rejected Dasti’s allegations and suggested that a privilege motion be moved against the lawmaker from Muzaffargarh.
Sources added that the committee has finalised its reports in which it said the evidence presented by Dasti to espouse his claims was not substantial.
Dasti had accused some lawmakers of indulging in ‘immoral activities’ in the parliament lodges drawing strong criticism from parliamentarians of all political parties.
