Written verdict issued on Sethi’s removal as PCB chairman

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court has issued today its written verdict on removal of Najam Sethi as chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), according to Geo News.

The court in the 26-page detailed verdict has declared all decisions null and void which were taken by the interim management committee of the PCB.

According to the court verdict written Mr Justice Noor-ul-Haq Qureshi, the reasons of the sacking of Zaka Ashraf could not be proved during the hearing.

The court annulled the notification of the interim management committee saying that it was based on a malafide intention.

It was also said in the verdict that the ministry of inter-provincial coordination had ensured to implement the court decision.
