LEAs bust arms smuggler in Quetta

QUETTA: Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) arrested an arms smuggler and seized a huge cache of arms from his truck during routine checking here in the outskirts of the provincial capital on Thursday.

According to sources, LEAs officials stopped a truck at the checkpost and recovered as many as 100 pistols, 10 rifles and 5000 rounds from its hidden cavities.

Identity of arrested accused was not disclosed who had been taken to some unknown location for interrogation.

LEAs described the arrest of alleged smuggler as a great achievement to trace and crush gangs involved in arms business in the province.
