East zone police arrest 19 accused

KARACHI: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) east on Tuesday claimed that the police had arrested 19 accused in raids conducted in several areas of east zone.

Addressing a press conference here, SSP East Peer Muhammad Shah said that the police had arrested nineteen accused, belonging to eight gangs involved in street crimes, dacoities and other crimes.

He added that four target killers were arrested while one other was killed in an encounter in east zone in one week. Nineteen weapons of various types were also seized.
