LAHORE: The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has served a notice to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan over non-payment at his Zaman Park residence.
One electricity meter is under Imran Khan’s name and two under the name of his mother at the Zaman Park residence.
If the electricity bill is not paid for another month, supply to Imran Khan’s residence will be disconnected.
The PTI chairman has not paid his electricity bill in the wake of his call for the civil disobedience movement.
On Sunday, Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid had revealed on Geo News programme Jirga that Imran Khan had paid the electricity bill at his Bani Gala residence despite the civil disobedience call.
However, according to reports Imran Khan has not paid his Bani Gala residence electricity bill (of August) as the due date of bill payment was September 8.
