US: Fundraiser for Shaukat Khanum Peshawar Hospital organized in Dallas

DALLAS: The Pakistan Tahreek e Insaaf hosted a fund raising dinner for construction of Shaukat Khanum hospital Peshawar.

PTI central leaders Dr. Nausherwan Bukhari and Fauzia Qasuri attended the event. Dr. Nausherwan Bukhari briefed the attendees on the features of the new hospital and said that this hospital will be built in the design of Lahore’s cancer hospital.

This facility will help people with cancer from Peshawar and its suburb. Addressing the meeting host Dr. Jaleel said that Dallas community keeps their heart open for Imran Khan and has contributed to all of his projects.

He said that Dallas community will not lag behind in current projects . He said the Pakistani diaspora all over the world pose trust in Imran Khan as their money will be well spent.

He said that they have hosted five fund raisers for Shaukat Khanum hospital. Upon Fauzia Qasuri and Dr. Jaleel’s appeal, people collected 99 thousand dollars in few hours.

A large number of Dallas residents attended the event including Aisha Tariq, Ali Farooq, Shahid Khan, Sajjad Fecto, Nadeem Zaman, Dr. Tariq and other community leaders including Mumtaz Tabassum, Dr. Amanullah Khan, Dr. Shahab and around two hundred of Dallas residents.

Famous vocalist and singer of Drama Humsufer Qirat ul Ain performed with famous Pakistani songs and entertained the attendees till late at night
