LAHORE: Pakistan hockey team’s training camp will be held in Karachi from 25th October, however Shakeel Abbasi, Haseem Khan and Fareed Ahmed have been excluded from the list of probables.
Talking to media from Lahore Secretary Pakistan hockey federation Rana Mujahid said that the training camp for the Champions Trophy, to be held in India from 6-14 December, would commence from 25th October in Karachi, for which 37 probables have been announced.
He further said that Shakeel Abbasi, Haseem Khan and Fareed Ahmed would be rested in the Champions Trophy, hence their names have been excluded from the camp.
Rana Mujahid informed the media that the players who had signed contracts with overseas leagues will not be getting NOCs because of this camp and the players that are already playing in any overseas league have signed an affidavit that they will be joining the camp on its commencement.
