Reception held in Dallas in honor of visiting poet

The event was participated by a large number of men and women writers, poets and literary personalities of Dallas Fort Worth.
AlNoor International Chairman Noor Amrohvi while addressing the gathering said that AlNoor always recognizes people of literature in Dallas Fort Worth.
He said dedicating this evening to Suhail Saqib, “we are again showing our love to Urdu, its poetry and literature and setting a milestone in this region”.
He thanked the audience and participating poets. Popular poet of Dallas Fort Worth Younus Ijaz performed as Master of Ceremony at the event.
Praising the guest of honor, Mr. Younus Ijaz said that reading Suhail Saqib is a treat for literature loving people.
He said that this is good fortune of Dallas resident that Mr. Saqib decided to visit here. The guest of honor Mr. Suhail Saqib recited a few of his ghazals, nazams, and naat for which he received applauses and admirations.
In his short speech he said that poetry reflects honest and true sentiments, strong observations and creativity.
He said the cultural and literary richness and the amount of work done for Urdu literature in US is quite impressive which will help building new traditions.
He said he is carrying memorable moments of his life with him in terms of literature and poetry from his trip.
He said these new experiments and observations are part of his life now, which he will be utilizing in future.
He said that keeping your traditions alive outside the country is not any less than a jihad and he appreciate institutions and organizations that are doing this work.
Mushaira was presided by Mr. Saeed Qureshi. Addressing the audience he said that Noor Amrohvi is not any less than any Mujahid, as the amount of time, effort and money he puts in for this work is commendable.
He said that the amount of work Noor Amrohvi has put in to this effort is unmatchable.
He said that Alnoor International has set traditions in promotion of literature and this effort is needed to continue.
Thanking audience of mushaira he said that Dallas literary circle participants are commendable. Mushaira was attended by prominent local poets and prominent community leaders Shah Alam Asar, Shamsha Qureshi, Syed Fayyaz Hussain, Raja Zahid Khanzada, Amin Tirmizi, Shahid Jaffri, and others.
