Maulvi Afzal alias Fauji who was involved in the attack on the Katahala police check post three years ago was among the terrorists killed.
DPO Gujrat, Rai Ijaz said the operation was conducted near Lalamusa and the killed terrorists belonged to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
The terrorists were planning to carry out attacks at the police lines and other sensitive buildings, the DPO added.
