Pillion riding banned in Khi till Sunday

KARACHI: Sindh Government has imposed a ban on pillion riding with effect from Wednesday (12 noon) till the night of 12th Rabi-ul-Awal (Sunday), Geo News reported.

According to Sindh Home Minister, Manzoor Wassan said he intended to give police a 'free-hand' and that the foremost priority of the government was to establish and maintain peace.

Lauding the police performance, he said police were tackling the challenges in the metropolitan city.

He said anyone providing information leading to the arrest of elements inciting ethnic violence in Karachi would get a reward of Rs1 million. The name of the informer will be kept under cover, he added.
