Sheikh, Hussain made PM advisors

ISLAMABAD: After being suspended as legislators on Monday, Dr. Asim Hussain and Dr. Hafeez Sheikh have been made advisors to the Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Geo News reported Monday.

The decision was made hours after the Supreme Court suspended memberships of federal ministers for finance and petroleum respectively.

Earlier today, the Supreme Court suspended membership of 28 legislators including that of nine MNAs and three Senators on grounds of their election under an incomplete Election Commission which is against the Constitution.

These lawmakers would continue to remain suspended until the passage of the 20th amendment.
