Cessna wreck still lying on the crash site
LAHORE: The wreck of Cessna 150 aircraft, which crashed in the porch of a house in the Model Town area of Lahore, has yet not been removed form the site, Geo News reported.

The aircraft, which belonged to a local flying club named Hybrid Aviation, which had flown from private Walton Airport, crashed within seven to eight minutes of takeoff killing trainee pilot Faisal Waqar and instructor Anita Qureshi.

Both pilots were originally from Karachi.

Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority team visited the site and collected evidence.

Talking to Geo News the CAA inspection team chief, Ghulam Mustufa Mirani said it would be too early to ascertain as to what caused the crash.
Disaster tourists have also been reported to throng the crash site to look at the wreck.

On the other hand both the dead bodies were taken to Jinnah Hospital for autopsy.

Relatives of the deceased pilots have reached Lahore to collect the remains of their loved ones.
