Kite flying: IG orders release of 11 children after Geo report

LAHORE: Inspector General (IG) Punjab has ordered to release eleven children detained by police on kite flying charges after 'Geo News' report.

While taking prompt action on 'Geo News' report about arrest of 11 children on kite flying charges, IGP Punjab Muhammad Habib-ur-Rehman directed police to release these.

Ten to 15-year-old children were put in jail alongwith other accused.
