Lahore: UET student crushed to death under collapsing hostel wall

LAHORE: A student was crushed to death after a wall collapsed in a boy’s hostel of University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore, Geo News reported.

The tragic incident also left one student hospitalized.

Enraged students blocked GT road to protest the negligence of university administration, which even after repeated complaints did nothing about the building structures falling apart from a long time.

The protest ended hours later after vice chancellor assured them of full inquiry into the incident.

Earlier student engineers had refused to end protest until vice chancellor himself assured them of taking the ones responsible for the tragic death of their fellow to the task.
