RAHIMYAR KHAN: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif Thursday said that the government would have to exhibit “courage” in running the affairs of the country, Geo News reported.
Addressing a public gathering in Rahimyar Khan, the PML-N leader lashed out at the ruling alliance for blatantly flouting the orders of the honorable courts as well as Prime Minister for so subserviently safeguarding Pakistan’s looted wealth deposited in Swiss banks.
“It’s a shame that PM Gilani is ready to go to gallows or jail for his boss’s ill-gotten money”, Sharif said.
He said, “ Someone has cast a curse upon the country, it seemed like a doomed-land in the given circumstances.”
Masses’ back had been broken by the inflation and unemployment owing to the fact that the government’ was neck-deep in corruption and the central bank just printing money to satisfy the rulers binge-borrowing, Sharif lamented.
“It’s time we mended the country, otherwise it would be too late”, Sharif.
He made it clear that he was not after “securing premiership” for himself but saving Pakistan for all.
“I don’t want to become prime minister, I only want to lead the country to safety as well as prosperity”, said he.
