Balochistan Assembly passes number of resolutions

QUETTA: Balochistan Assembly Friday adopted Gawadar Industrial Estates Development Authority (Amendment) Bill along with many other resolutions, Geo News reported.

Speaker Muhammad Aslam Bhotani chaired the session.

Provincial Minsiter for Industries and Commerce Syed Ehsan shah tabled the bill for Gawadar industries.

Moreover, the assembly also passed a unanimous resolution related to bringing airfares between Quetta, Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi equal to Islamabad-Karachi and Karachi-Lahore.

Apart from that PIA and private airlines should also be made bound to follow the time schedule. Like other provinces night coaches’ package should also be introduced in Balochistan. Private airlines should also be given access to Quetta.

Law and parliamentary affairs Minister Abdul Rehman Jamali, Mrs Nasreen Khetran, Asadullah Baloch, Captain (R ) Abdul Khaliq, Asim Kurd Galloo, Jan Ali Changezi, Zahoor Buledi, Abdul Rehman mengal, Ismail Gujjar supported the motion.

When put to vote, House unanimously adopted the resolution.

Later Speaker adjourned the house till Monday.
