JUI-F boycott of PCNS proceedings will continue: Fazl

ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on President Asif Ali Zardari at the President House today, Geo News reported.

The president requested the JUI-F to end boycott of parliamentary committees including the Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS), tasked to review Pak-US ties.

The two leaders also discussed the domestic violence bill.

Earlier, the president telephoned JUI-F chief and invited him to the Presidency over lunch.

The JUI-F is opposed to the reopening of Nato supply lines. On Tuesday, US Ambassador Cameron Munter also met the JUI-F leader to discuss Nato supply matters.
