Tehreek-e-Sooba Hazara warns of countrywide civil disobedience
ISLAMABAD: Tehreek-e-Sooba Hazara(TSH) leader Baba Haider Zaman Monday has warned to launch countrywide civil disobedient movement, if the government announced creation of Seraiki province firstly while ignoring their demands.

While addressing a news conference here at National Press Club, Baba Haider Zaman flayed hard the government for focusing only on Siraiki province and avoiding the Hazara province movement.

Criticizing President Asif Ali Zardari, the chief of TSH mentioned that Zardari was the president of all Pakistanis, Seraiki people instead and he should talk about the people of whole country.

He said we are not against the Seraiki province, President’s statement about forming Seraiki province revitalized those people who shed their blood for the Hazara province, but the government did not pay any heed to their demands.

Haider Zaman was of the view, more provinces are the right of the people, however, if any step is taken while depriving people of Hazara, we would be left with no other option but to launch a civil disobedience movement by burning the utility bills first,” he said.

Baba Zaman also flayed government for creating impediments to the way of the Hazara province, adding that the new province would change the lifestyle of people of the neglected area besides bringing
economic prosperity.

After introducing unformed education system in the new province, the differences between the have and have not would be eliminated, he hinted.

TSH leader also asked the government to hold a plebiscite on the issue as majority of residents of the Hazara division are in favour of formation a new province for them.

Terming the provincial governments as land mafia, he said rulers of the provinces had subjugated the masses.

The people of Hazara will continue their peaceful struggle for the creation of Hazara province. We were thankful to all the political forces, including the MQM for supporting our cause, however, the movement will not be a part of any political party including MQM in future,” vowed the elderly Haider Zaman.

He said the leaders like Sardar Yousaf and Sardar Shahjahan were doing politics on the issue of Hazara province. (APP)
