SIU SSP Khurram Waris told Geo News that they raided the area after getting the information about the presence of Lyari gang war accused in C1 area of Liaquatabad, and arrested five gangsters.
Exchange of fire took place before the arrests were made that injured two criminals.
The security forces were also attacked with hand grenades,however, no casualty was reported.
