Sana levels allegations against media owners

LAHORE: Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah has accused the media houses for money grabbing through illegal means, Geo News reported on Friday.

While speaking to the media outside the Punjab assembly here today, Rana Sanaullah said that the nation trusts the word of the media and Supreme Court more than that of the lawyers and politicians.

The provincial minister accused the yesteryears ‘illegal money earners’ of becoming the media owners of today. He said that media organizations should remove them from their rows.

Sana said that the nation was left in a state of shock after the true colours of anchorpersons belonging to Dunya channel were exposed on Thursday, after the off-air conversation between Malik Riaz and the two anchorpersons (Meher Bokhari, Mubashir Lucman) was leaked online.

The minister further stated that Mian Amir Mehmood was a Malik Riaz of yesterday and he used to wander around on a motorcycle.

The entire nation is in favor of exposing the real face of those who have made the media hostage and are willing to destroy the country along with ‘Ali Baba and his forty accomplices’. Severe punishment should be taken up against the three participants of the aired program, he added.
