Minister for ports, shipping pays surprise visit to KPT Hospital

KARACHI: The federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Senator Kamran Michael has paid a surprise visit at KPT Hospital to inspect the available facilities at the KPT Hospital.

According to an official press release on Friday, General Manager Administration Mr Niaz Ali Jesser and Chief Medical Officer Dr Azam Ali Khwaja were also present on the occasion.

During the visit, the Minister held dialogue with the patients admitted in the hospital. All the patients showed satisfaction on the available facilities.

He visited different wards and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital and saw that patients are well taken care of. The Minister was very much inspired by the presence of technical equipment and the available facilities.

He appreciated the cleanliness and neatness aspect of the maintenance of KPT Hospital and he said on the occasion that meeting Occupational Health Standards is the responsibility of every organization and that KPT is doing the same in exceptionally good manner.

He met all the doctors, nurses and staff on duty and commended the efforts outlaid by them in managing smoothly all the affairs pertaining to hospital.
