Deputy Commissioner Indian Customs has said that the matter would be taken up with the Pakistani authorities.
The Indian authorities seized the heroin from one of the carriages of the cargo train that transported cement from Pakistan to India.
"Strict checking of imports coming from Pakistan was being undertaken," the Deputy Commissioner Indian Customs said.
