ISLAMABAD: The central character in Arsalan Iftikhar case, business tycoon Malik Riaz Monday said he was being implicated in fabricated cases and that he had sought more time from the Supreme Court for presentation of additional evidence.
Talking to media men after appearing before National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Riaz said: "The Supreme Court should arrive at a judgment about who is right and who is telling a lie after weighing the record of the case in which I was declared a proclaimed offender. And award me a life imprisonment in case I am found guilty of lying."
He said the Supreme Court would have to dispense justice to him, as he was being implicated in made-up cases.
