Truck torched after traffic mishap in Karachi

KARACHI: Angry mob set at fire a truck that severely wounded a young man in a traffic mishap in Nazimabad area here, Geo News reported.

Police said that a speeding truck hitting a young motorcycle rider grievously wounded him on Shershah Suri Road, who was later shifted to Abassi Shaheed Hospital.

Meanwhile, the angry mob gathered over there surrounded the truck, but the driver fearing danger sneaked away. However, the truck was torched and by the time fire brigade arrived it was completely gutted. Traffic for some time remained disrupted.

Doctors said that the condition of the wounded young man was out of danger.
