Train fares to go up by 5pc from Sept 1

LAHORE: Pakistan Railways has jacked up fares for all passenger trains with effect from September 1, Geo News reported Saturday.

According to General Manager Railways, the fares for passenger trains have been raised by 5 percent which will go into effect from September 1.

He attributed the rise in fares to the increasing diesel price.
