General elections will be held on time: Latif Khosa

LAHORE: Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa has said that all institutions should not only strengthen the state but also get together for the smooth flow of democratic process.

Meeting with Revenue minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhry Ali Shah and PPP member Major (R) Sardar Amjad Rafique at Governor House on Sunday, he said that parliament is the only sovereign institution which is fully supported by the people.

The Governor said that general elections would held on time and government would take steps to hold the elections with full transparency. He further said that PPP would win more seats in elections and would come into power again.

He said that PPP had never done the politics of hatred adding that it had always taught the lesson to work with unity and love to those elements which show undemocractic attitude.
