Trainee cop gunned down in Qasba colony

KARACHI: Unidentified assailants gunned down a trainee policemen in Qasba colony here on Saturday, Geo News reported.

According to details, the unidentified gunmen killed a man out outside his house who was later identified as 28-year old Muhammad Shafiq, a trainee policeman.

According to SSP district west Amir Farooqi, the deceased was on police training and had come home on leave here.

The SSP further said that the attackers were on a motorcycle, who after killing Muhammad Hanif escaped from the spot. Investigation is underway.

The deceased's body has been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
