WANA: The residents of Tehsil Tiarza have been ordered to vacate the area within two days in view of likely operation against the militants, Geo news reported.
South Waziristan Agency (SWA) Political Agent, Shahidullah Khan talking to Geo News said that Mehsud tribesmen residing at Ziarat Zay, Salway, Sanjla, Konday, Gharsar and other areas have been ordered to vacate the area within two days..
He said that militants in these areas have been attacking security forces since last several days. Yesterday, 18 militants were killed and 9 security men were martyred in clashes, which has made the operation necessary in these areas. He said in October 2009 operation tribesmen from all other areas except Tiarza had vacated.
Tribal elders said that the people have started preparations for moving out of the area. They have appealed to the government of Pakistan and the international organizations to make arrangements on priority basis for the evacuating families.
