Dallas: Hindi, Urdu Cruise Mushaira held

Famous Urdu language poetess from Houston Dr Nausha Asrar, Khalid Khaja, and well-known poetess from Chicago Dr Abidullah Ghazi were the star attraction, and were especially invited to present their poetry on this event, which was presided by S.K. Mittal.
The event was hatched by none other than Mr. Noor Amrohvi, a well-known poet and a famous personality among Urdu/Hindi language literary circles of Al-Noor International, who with his brilliant idea, organized this event on the waves of Grapevine Lake onboard a double deck-cruise vessel "Lone Star Lady of Texas". This was the third Hindi / Urdu Mushaira (Poetry Recitation) in the history of Dallas.
This memorable and historical poetry recitation was attended by local poets, and Pakistani and Indian community.
The Mushaira was inaugurated byNoor Amrohavi, who welcomed the guests and invited on stage, the presider (chief of event). The evening started with an excellent buffet served from a local restaurant.
The Chief mentor of the evening was Mr. M.C.Mittal and the Chief Guest was former President of India association Mr. Akram Syed. There was plenty of activity for children and adults to enjoy. Everybody having good time, the stage was set by Ms Jytoi kumar gave the warm introduction and invited to Mr. Noor Amrohvi to start the Program.
Mr. Noor Amrohvi welcomed everyone for joining the event and sang two magnificent gazals to cheers the audiences. After that he invited a very talented and Famous RJ Mr. Amarjeet Singh Dhillon who sang two wonderful poetry, one in the memory of Mr. Noor's mother and then a real poetry in Punjabi which everyone enjoyed.
Mr Khalid Khaja a renowned poet from Houston, who recites most memorable gazals of the evening. His personal touch brought tears to the eyes of the audience.
Another Houston poet Mr. Naushad is a Ph.D. in chemistry and is a well-known scientist also recites and sang several emotional gazals and also an Hindi poetry which brought listeners to their feet. The last poet was from Chicago who was master of romantic poetry. His poetry and his stand against the partition brought audience to their feet.
On this occasion Mr. Akram Syed for gratitude and also to Mr Mittal for the final evening thanks. Mr Mittal spoke one by one for the glory of each participants and spoke in gazal form about each poet. His summary left the audience on their feet.
Mr. Noor Amrohvi spoke about everyone for their hard work to make this evening a success and also introduced Ms. Jyoti Kumar for the last word and a vote of thanks. Ms. Jyoti beam graciously about the hard work done by everyone and brought Mrs. Sulochana to sing the final poetry of the evening.
The Cruise had come near the shore and everyone participated in emptying the boat and audience reluctantly left for their home. This was one of the most memorable evenings for everyone to remember said by audience.
They also thanked Al- Noor-International for all its hard work and for this tremendous evening.
