QUETTA: A three-member bench of Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, will resume the hearing of Balochistan law and order situation case here today (Thursday).
The apex court had summoned Federal Secretary, Interior Secretary and Defence Secretary during the hearing of case on Wednesday.
Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry remarked that the country was facing defamation over the issue of missing persons at international level but security agencies here paid no heed.
Calling Balochistan a volcano ready to explode, he told Inspector General of the FC, Major General Ubaidullah Khattak, that the name of FC repeatedly appeared in the missing persons' case. "It is not right to say that we [FC] can't do anything," the chief justice said.
