CM Sindh contacts coalition partners on LG Ord

KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah is busy contacting coalition partners for bringing them on board regarding the Local Government Ordinance on Friday, Geo News reported.

According to CM house spokesman, CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah has telephoned ANP Sindh president, Shahi Syed, to bring Awami National Party (ANP) around on LG Ordinance and hold a meeting in this regard so that their reservations could be removed.

CM Sindh also called PML-Q leader, Halim Adil Sheikh for the same, while Pir Mazhar ul Haq talked to PML (F)’s leader Imtiaz Sheikh in this regard.

Halim Adil Sheikh, while talking to Geo News confirmed that CM Qaim had invited PML-Q leadership to hashed out all the issues regarding LG ordinance.

On the other hand Imtiaz Sheikh also told Geo News that he had received an invitation from CM Sindh for a meeting for the same.

However, he added that PML-F’s taking part in such a meeting was contingent upon party leader Pir Sahib of Pagara's decision.
