Positive thinking required to solve issues: PM
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf during a meeting with visiting Indian External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna said positive thinking was required to solve issues.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Ashraf also extended an invitation to his Indian counterpart to visit Pakistan.

PM Ashraf further said that terrorism was a scourge not only for both the neighbouring countries, but also the whole humanity.

“The resolution of outstanding issues like, Kashmir, Sir Creek, Siachen and others was imperative”, the PM said.

“Settlement of all the disputes exacted a sincere will as well a positive outlook.”

Lauding PM Asraf’s views, SM Krishna said a ministerial meeting after a hiatus of six year would go a long way in bringing both the counties closer.

“India wants to see a flourishing as well as peaceful Pakistan and there are no two opinions about it”, said he.

Both the Indian and Pakistani prime ministers belong to the same region, said Krishna, adding PM Singh would be delighted to visit his birthplace in an area which is now in Pakistan.

Manmohan Singh was born in Gah, a village which located in Pakistan's Punjab province.
