CM Khyber Pakthunkhwa condemns Lower Dir blast

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakthunkhwa Chief Minister, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti Sunday strongly condemned bomb blast at Jandol area in Lower Dir district and termed it a cowardly act of terrorism.

In a statement, the Chief Minister said perpetrators behind this heinous crime against humanity would not be spared and would be brought to justice soon.

He said anti-state elements will face crushing defeat in every front and such acts could not shake the resolve and determination of the government. He said terrorists are enemy of Islam, Pakistan and humanity.

The Chief Minister expressed profound grief and sorrow with the families of victims and prayed for their eternal peace and early recovery of the wounded.

He directed the hospital administration to provide best medical facilities to the injured.

It may be recalled that 15 people were killed and 10 others injured in a bomb blast targeting a passengers van at Jandol area in Lower Dir District this morning. (APP)
