Sketch released of Hyderi blast suspect

KARACHI: A sketch of the alleged suspect of the Hyderi bomb blast that occurred on Tuesday has been released.

According to investigating officials a multi directional improvised device was used for the blast, which caused maximum damage.

A case against unknown persons has been registered under the counter terrorism act, explosive act and several provisions of causing injury and murder. A sketch of the suspect has also been issued in this regard.

The investigators told Geo News that this sketch is of a person who snatched a motorcycle from Rizvia Society on 3rd September with the help of accomplices, however the sketches of his accomplices were not available.

The investigators further said a local remote controlled multi directional improvised device was used for the blasts carrying several kgs of explosive material and barring balls.

The twin blasts killed 8 people including a women and a young girl and injured 23 people. No arrests have been made so far in the case.
