Karachi: Target-killers claim eleven more lives
KARACHI: At least eleven more people were killed in cold-blood in the city, whereas unruly armed ruffians strong-armed the traders to shut down markets in Golimar, Surjani, Nazimabad, Gulbahar, and Federal-B areas here on Friday.

According to sources man was gunned down when unidentified armed men opened fire at him near Jilani Mosque, Garden. He died on the spot.

The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico-legal formalities. Deceased was identified as 30-years-old Asif, son of Ramzan Memon, resident of Shalimar Garden.

Meanwhile, 35-years-old Sohail Bhaig son of Azem Bhaig was gunned down in the Petal Gali, Golimar. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico legal formalities.

A bullet-riddled body with limbs tied up was found from Korangi No. 2 ½, Bilal Colony falling in the jurisdiction of Korangi police station. It was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for postmortem. Victim was identified as Muhammad Arif, son of Hidayat, about 63 years old, resident of Teen Hati area.

Another, bullet-riddled body was found from the Bhens Colony, whose identity could not be ascertained till the filing this report. It was shifted to JPMC for medico legal formalities.

Meanwhile, one Arslan, son of Muhmmad Zaki, 26, was gunned down in Ghas Mandi area. The body was shifted to CHK.

In Gulbahar’s Peetal Gali area gunmen riding a motorbike shot dead one Mirza Sohail Beg, who was an auto parts dealer.

Garden area also had its share of violence as a dead body was recovered from there too.
