Mirpur Mathelo: Overnight traffic logjam on national highway

GHOTKI: Commuters on the national highway faced a worst of its kind traffic jam at Mirpur Mathelo, due to construction of a bridge on the highway, the logjam started to effect flow of traffic on Sunday night and contiues unabated, Geo News reported.

According to Motorway police, the national highway was cut off for the construction of a bridge at Mirpur Mathelo; due to the construction which have been underway since last one month, only one track is being available for traffic.

The National Highway Authority (NHA) officials are hopeful that smooth flow of traffic will be restored soon.
