Swat: Woman, 4 children die in house roof collapse

MINGORA: A woman and four children were killed, while two persons including another woman wounded, when roof of a house collapsed in Tehsil Kabal of Swat on Wednesday, Geo News reported.

Police said that a dilapidated roof of a house collapsed and seven persons including women and children asleep in the house were buried under the debris. Following the incident, all of them were taken out by rescue operation, however, Maria, 3, Ayman, 5, Ayesha 4, Abdullah, 14 besides the grandmother of the children Akhtar Begum died on the spot, while Syed Alam and his sister-in-law were wounded.

The injured were shifted to the Saidu Sharif Hospital. The dead and the injured persons had come to Swat from Karachi.
