PIA flight with 318 pilgrims arrives Karachi

KARACHI: PIA Hajj flight PK-3808 carrying 318 pilgrims from Jeddah arrived Wednesday at the airport here, Geo News reported.

Federal ministers Makhdoom Amin Faheem and Khurshid Shah were also on board the flight.

A large number of people were present at the airport for welcoming the pilgrims.

Talking to media on this occasion, Federal Minister Makhdoom Amin Faheem said that the ministry of Hajj this year had made better arrangements for the pilgrims, who performed Hajj with relative ease.

Khurshid Shah on this occasion said that 1,80,000 pilgrims were provided Hajj facilities and services, for which, he himself could not perform Hajj and added that serving the Hujjaj-e-Karam was a matter of pride to him. He said that a committee has been constituted to enquire into travel agents’ fraud cases in Pakistan and action would be taken in accordance with their findings.
