MQM remembers October 31 tragedy

LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain has said that incident of October 31,1986 was a conspiracy to pit people of Sindh against each other, Geo News reported on Wednesday.

In a statement issued here on the 26th anniversary of the MQM workers, Hussian said that the people of Sindh foiled the conspiracy through their unity.

The MQM supremo said that his party was representative of oppressed communities and laid foundation to promote leadership from middles class.

Mr Hussain paid homage to MQM workers who lost their lives and vowed to continue their mission for which they sacrificed their lives.
