LAHORE: Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) personnel have arrested three members of a banned outfit with hoards of firearms, bombs and other explosive devices, Geo News reported.
“Agents in a raid conducted near Lari Adda area of Lahore held the malefactors who were armed to the teeth”, SSP CIA Umer Warak told Geo News.
Later DSP CIA, Tariq Ilyas Kayani, told a press conference that the arrestees namely Arshad, Umer Zaib, and Amjad were members of banned Tehrik-e-Taliban.
The held terrorists would be produced before an anti-terrorism court very soon, said he.
Lawmen also seized AK-47s, handguns, grenades, explosives, bombmaking paraphernalia, and various IEDs.
