ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan has sought details of campaign expenses from the winning candidates of by-polls held on Tuesday in the two constituencies of National Assembly, six seats of Punjab Assembly and one of Sindh Assembly, Geo News reported on Wednesday.
According to sources in the ECP, the candidates have been asked to provide complete details of expenditure on election campaign before the notifications with regard to their victory are issued.
The existing ceilings for election campaign expenditures for the National Assembly and provincial assemblies stand at Rs1.5 million and Rs1 million respectively.
