CNG stations to close for 24 hours in Sindh

KARACHI: Sindh cities will face another 24-hour CNG supply halt that will start from tonight, Geo News reported.

According to the announcement by Sui Southern Gas Company, all the gas filling stations will be closed from midnight for 24 hours. Earlier this week, the company had already announced to keep the stations shut for three days a week as part of weekly CNG closure schedule.

The CNG station owners are observing a strike against the cut in prices of the commodity that is causing them ‘losses’, as stated by the owners.

The tug of war situation between the CNG association and government has added to the misery of masses, who are unable to attain the gas for their vehicles and run their day-to-day affairs.
