Sindh consumers set to face 24hr CNG closure

KARACHI: All the CNG outlets in Sindh region will shut down for 24 hours from Friday 12:00 AM till Saturday midnight, Geo News reported.

Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has issued a statement to this effect.

Earlier this week, the company had already announced to keep the stations closed for three days a week (48 hours) as part of weekly CNG closure schedule.

Consumers have started to throng the CNG stations ahead of closure, where miles long queues are in the making.

Also the CNG station owners are observing a strike against a slash in prices of the fuel which they said was causing them huge losses.
