ISLAMABAD: Mostly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country while foggy conditions are likely to prevail over plain areas of Punjab including twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad during next 24 hours.
Met office here on Saturday said continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country whereas a shallow westerly wave is still prevailing over Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and adjoining areas.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the province, however light rain-snow is likely to occur at a few places of Malakand and Hazara divisions during next 24 hours.
Shallow Misty conditions also likely to prevail over Peshawar division during late night and early morning.
In Sindh, mostly dry weather is expected in most parts with likely foggy conditions over Sukkur division during late night and morning during same time span.
Mainly Cold and Dry weather is expected in most parts of Balochistan, however light rain/thunderstorm is likely at a isolated places of Makran and Kalat divisions during next 24 hours.
While in Kashmir, light rain with snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places and in Gilgit-Baltistan light shower with snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places during next 24 hrs.
