KARACHI: Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh, Fayyaz Laghari has announced to provide security to anti-polio teams in sensitive areas in future, Geo News reported.
Speaking to media after the funeral prayer of police personnel Orangzaib, who was killed in hand grenade attack in Orangi town on Tuesday, Fayyaz Laghari said they would not retreat in war against terror, adding series of police officials martyrdom is result of this war.
Regarding attacks on anti-polio workers, IGP said progress was achieved in this matter and further action was being taken.
Laghari further said in future, security would be provided to anti-polio teams in sensitive areas.
