ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Farooq Sattar has said that the process of delimitations in Karachi in light of Supreme Court's orders have been challenged, Geo News reported on Thursday.
Speaking to media men outside the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) office, he said that the process of delimitations was tantamount to pre-poll rigging.
He said that delimitations in Karachi were injustice since they could not be carried out without census. “As per the Constitution and law, delimitations could be carried out only after census,” Dr Sattar added.
The MQM leader said there was no justification for carrying out delimitations in one city only.
