ISLAMABAD: The government has no intention to close down or phase out CNG stations, said Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira.
Speaking in the national assembly, information minister said government is working to overcome gas shortage, adding CNG licenses and LPG quotas were issued by the past government.
Kaira asserted that despite world pressure the government inked Pak-Iran gas agreement and still working on it. He added that to implement on this project, there is need of huge amount which is to be taken from the international organizations.
