One killed, two hurt in Karachi car blast

KARACHI: One person was killed and two others sustained injuries in a car blast at Rashid Minhas Road on Wednesday night, Geo News reported.

According to rescue sources, the blast occurred in a vehicle parked near shop at fuel station, killing a man on the spot and injuring two others. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained.

The explosion also completely damaged the vehicle.

According to bomb disposal squad, the explosive material was placed at the backside of vehicle.

The number plate of the vehicle is said to be fake.

The blast created panic among the residents of the area.
