Cellular services turned off in Karachi

KARACHI: Cellular services in the metropolis have been turned of in the wee hours of Monday in a wake of security concerns, Geo news reported.

According to the report, the interior ministry directed mobile phone companies the suspension of mobile phone services after which the mobile networks get halted.

However, no timeframe has been given regarding restoration of mobile phone services.
